The 90+% of available programs are not worth my time, especially when commercials take up a lot of time. I want to use my new Sony TV as a large monitor connected to my computer system. The problem is that, except for HP computers, HDMI output is not part of the computer system. My $5,300 computer system from Dell does not have either an HDMI or an extra DVI outlet port. If one checks prices, a seocond 30" monitor for a computer from Dell costs $1,600. This 40" Sony TV, essentially fothe same price is a winner, especially when all the additional features, such as HDTV 3D are considered. |
