I mean, it took me years before I finally bought an HDTV. I had a 42" 720P Panasonic Plasma for 2 years and loved it. Never had a single issue with it. I felt the same way about 3D as I did with Blu-ray at first. I was going to wait and see if it succeeded, or went the way of Laser Disc. And even if it did succeed, I always told myself Id wait until it came under $1000. Well, I didnt expect any 3D TV to be affordable anytime soon, let alone a great brand as Samsung. So when I saw the deal for $899.99, for the TV, 2 pairs of glasses, and all 4 Shrek 3D movies I started trying to figure out how to get it.
