This tv is incredible. The picture is clear and sharp and the colors are very realistic. You don't get plasma 'pixilation' or the LC 'trails' during action scenes. This is better than tvs costing 3 times as much, and I will one day get the 3-d starter kit, but the picture almost looks 3-d by itself! It's surprisingly very light...it's replacing a 50 inch plasma and the new Mitsubiishi is MUCH lighter. Of course the negative is it's WIDER..BUT it looks every bit the thin flatscreen from the front and I have it kind of cornered in the back of the room where 2 walls meet on a stand...and you honestly can't tell it's an LCD, led, or DLP. Also, the way it's designed...when turned off it looks like no bigger a piece of furniture in this smallish room than my previous 50 inch plasma.
