I have had my new LG 50PX950 along with the LG BX580 Network 3D Blu-ray Disc Player for over a month now, and all I got to say is, man do I love this TV. First impression and why I feel that this is one of the best 2D / 3D TV's on the market. I have seen no problems with this TV as some others have written. It has excellent motion and black level response; there are only subtle traces of crosstalk visible which is very close to the Panasonic, Sony and Samsung. We just set it up yesterday afternoon, and I am so thrilled that we didn't wait any longer! We've had a Dynex 42" 1080P LCD HDTV for the past two years and we thought that was good - we didn't know what we were missing!!! The picure on this TV is just gorgeous. We're fans of both animation and action flicks, and I can only imagine what some of my favorites are going to look like on this TV. We watched our 2D Blu-ray version of Disney's "Up" last night - if 2D looks THIS good, I cannot wait to start building our 3D collection. HDTV and Xbox 360 (my husband just had to give it a gaming test run) look incredible, too. Everything just seems so real. It is the best thing that I have ever purchased for him. The TV is amazing. The picture on this TV is so real life and clear. The 3D option is nice. The kids loved watching a movie in 3D. The TV was simple to set up and get everything working. It has plenty of hook-ups. I wish I had purchased it from Amazon, as I paid $500 more! It was worth it though! :) |
